About Ross Armstrong:

Executive Director Armstrong was born and raised in Reno, graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno, and then Willamette University College of Law. Before joining the Nevada Commission on Ethics in 2021, he was a special prosecutor in rural Nevada and then general agency attorney at the Nevada Attorney General’s Office and held executive positions at the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services. He has served on multiple public Commissions, including the Juvenile Justice Oversight Commission, the Coalition to Prevent the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children, and the Nevada Attorney General’s Committee on Domestic Violence.
